new year’s resolution #2: travel! even if within a 20km radius when more than that is not possible. so i started this year by going to peru - here!

new year’s resolution #1: take more pictures. so now i have this thing where i take one picture a day and post it. so far it’s working alright, even though it’s a pain to have some decent pictures on one day and none on the other. but anyway, this was week one.

Critical Mass is a bicycling event typically held on the last Friday of every month in over 300 cities around the world. While the ride was originally founded in 1992 in San Francisco with the idea of drawing attention to how unfriendly the city was to cyclists, the leaderless structure of Critical Mass makes it impossible to assign it any one specific goal. In fact, the purpose of Critical Mass is not formalized beyond the direct action of meeting at a set location and time and traveling as a group through city or town streets on bikes.

these were the most interesting events in the cubs 3-0 giants baseball game that took place last night at the AT&T park: on the left, a random guy spreading christian love while a huge crowd cycled past the giants’ stadium for the critical mass event (more on that later); on the right, a giants’ fan who wore her pants midway through her butt and was constantly standing up to remind us of that.the company was worth it though :o)
